Quality of life is of ultimate importance for all of us. Having 30 + yrs of counseling experience in medical, mental health, children services, senior care and hospice care, I am available to guide you through difficulties with a loved one, job, marriage, or important relationship. Whatever is causing emotional discomfort needs to be dealt with in order to live life to the fullest. I will help you sort out your needs and work with you to develop strategies for making improvements. I value open communication and respect others' beliefs and values. I have counseled in the counties of Shelby, Henry, Spencer, Jefferson and Oldham for various agencies. My private practice is in Shelbyville. I am a strong advocate for counseling as a tool to improve quality of life for all age groups. Confidentiality is extremely important and will be respected. I am trained in the trauma therapy modality of Eye Movement Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This modality is beneficial for reduction of reoccuring stress from highly emotional event in a person's life.
