I work with a wide range of issues in people's lives from depression and anxiety to work/school related stress, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, grief, and traumatic stress. I typically use short-term, goal-oriented treatment techniques, taking a practical approach to problem-solving. We would work together to identify your problems, establish goals for therapy, and develop new coping strategies. I work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and marriage therapy and provide these services in both Shelbyville and Middletown. I am one of eleven clinical providers at Shelby Counseling Associates who offer individual, marriage, family counseling and testing and evaluation at our offices in Shelbyville and Middletown, providing services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Day, evening and weekend appointments are available and we are on most insurance panels. Because I also served twenty one years in the US Army, retiring as a First Sergeant in 2003, I particularly enjoy working with military personnel, veterans, and families of both currently serving military and veterans. My commitment to serve did not end when I retired from active duty.
