My practice is well suited for a person who is ready to make positive changes in their life. Over the last 7+ years I have primarily focused on working with people who have had a difficult time developing healthy relationships with others and with themselves. We look at communication skills, explore intimacy blocking beliefs, anger management, sexual addiction, anxiety, as well as skills in loss and grief. I also work with people who have a difficult time establishing healthy boundaries with a loved one with a drug/alcohol addiction. I utilize Choice Theory, this assists a person in recognizing the power they have in recreating their world. I also use CBT, Gestalt, Humanistic and Mindfulness skills. I am certified in Community Reinforcement and Family Training to assist people in setting healthy boundaries with loved ones with a drug/alcohol addiction. I often compare myself to a hardware store.
