I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified counselor. I have worked in the field of mental health therapy since 2004 and have expanded my practice to better serve my clients and their particular needs. I have extensive training in suicide prevention and postvention and am trained as a trainer in Mental Health First Aid and SAFEtalk. In addition to therapy, I consult and work with hospitals doing suicide assessments, consultation, and as a designated examiner. I provide front line assessments and direct court testimony. I am familiar with legal proceedings and have worked with dozens of county attorney's, magistrates and public defenders. I am one of 7 formally trained and certified psychological autopsy investigators by the American Association of Suicidology in the country and am considered an expert in the field of suicide. I also serve as a team member on a Regional School Suicide Response team. Trainer for MHFA and SAFEtalk.
