I help people connect to, come home to, their real selves. Once that connection is made we operate from a joyous and stable place and problems that loomed large are now manageable or even fun to solve. We can enter into the process that leads there through any specific presenting problem as all roads lead down to that deep inner connection. I bring to bear perspectives from many traditions:psychodynamic, spiritual, biological, mind/body and existential, operating as a guide and mentor with information and support as you embark on this voyage to discovering the incredible potential inherent in you. My focus is the whole human being you are, showing you the inner resources you have to bring to bear on your problems; to leave the mire of difficult emotions for the joy, relief and power of clear thinking. You learn to think for yourself; to measure rather than react. I believe that I cannot be a guide on this journey unless I have gone there myself. Doing therapy is a sacred trust. I need to honor that and bring the best of myself. Thus I have undergone extensive, varied personal therapy and what I share, I share from experience.
