Substance abuse is a behavior that interferes with many aspects of living. It takes its toll on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have worked with clients as young as 14 and as old as 92, from all walks of life. Substance abuse does not discriminate. You're not alone and there is help. I have 18 years experience providing addictions counseling in the following treatment settings: inpatient, residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and prisons. I am a Masters level clinician, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and DEEP (Driver Education Evaluation Program) certified and practicing in the State of Maine. I have been an expert witness in court cases where there are drug related offenses. I also work with families to direct interventions for those family members with a substance abuse problem.
