My name is Dr. Heidi Wyman. I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy and have been practicing in this field for approximately 17 years. I work with children, families, and individuals. I work with a wide variety of issues and tend to focus on individual and family strengths when working with clients. I am committed to helping others and use feedback from those that I help to guide my work and my practice. I prefer to use a brief therapy model and I use a systems approach when working with clients. This means I ask a variety of questions about supports the client has and I try to include significant others in therapy when appropriate. In addition to a systems approach, I often use cognitive behavioral interventions which are very effective. I really enjoy working with others and helping them make a difference in their lives.
