My clients are children, adolescents, and adults with issues related to adjustment, anxiety and depression. I also work with families who are dealing with changes related to healthy parenting/co-parenting and single parenting challenges. I was a special education teacher for 30 years; that experience has benefitted me in doing evaluations/therapy with children/adolescents who are experiencing problems in the school setting including school refusal, selective mutism, ADHD, Tourette's Disorder, emotional/behavioral problems, and learning problems. My focus is helping individuals and families find healthier ways to cope, with self-acceptance, and with self-esteem. The office staff and psychologists at River Valley Associates work together to help create a positive and supportive environment for our clients.
