It is with great humility that I enter the field of counseling. I have served as a healthcare Christian Chaplain for 22 years in the Behavior Healthcare and Addiction Recovery arenas. I have extensive experience in addressing the various issues faced by survivors of childhood abuse and Adult Children of Alcoholics. In 2001 I became certified as a Pastoral Counselor and began my part-time practice at that time. Grieving the multiple changes and losses we experience impacts our behaviors and challenges our world view of ourselves and those around us. Using Cognitive Therapy we will address those unhealthy beliefs imbedded in our wounded spirits. Finding Hope within the journey is paramount to accepting personal responsibility and authority in our individual lives, thus empowering us to reconnect with that inner "voice" God created in each of us. With the support of my theological training from the Christian perspective, and my Masters in Counseling, I believe in the healing process of our wounded spirits. I am committed to extending hope in that process and of walking with my clients in their journey towards wholeness
