Having earned both my masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University/Phoenix, I am a licensed Psychologist in the State of Arizona. I completed my APA-approved internship at Purdue University's Counseling and Psychological Center and my post-doctoral fellowship at Insight: Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, and Weight Management, an intensive outpatient eating disorder treatment facility located in Chicago, IL. Additionally, I have experience in a variety of therapeutic settings involving treatment of mood disorders, trauma, addictions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, college/young adult issues, and Sexual/Gender Identity issues. Furthermore, as a member of the LGBTQ community, I am dedicated to helping individuals who identify within this community heal and feel empowered by their differences to achieve the future they deserve. I am emotion-focused in my therapeutic approach. I provide a genuine, warm, and empathic environment to assist my clients in exploring affect, develop alternative coping styles, and work to resolve relational trauma. I am enthusiastic about my work, and privileged to experience an individual's ability to rediscover their identity and heal.
