I have been a Licensed Professional counselor since 2007 in the state of Arizona. I provide therapy for families, children, couples and individuals. I utilize the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, as well as family centered approach. I also utilize play therapy with the younger clients as appropriate. I have worked with children and families for most of my career. I have a background in child development and have worked with children with disabilities and their families. My goal is to make every client feel safe and comfortable to start their journey to a healthy life. When working with children it is important to me that the child feels safe and is able to work through their feelings based on their cognitive level. The family is an important part of the therapy. I look at the individual as a whole and focus on his/her strengths. I believe in a holistic approach to try to provide the best support for my clients. I make sure that each client is treated with respect and dignity. I try to provide a non-judgmental, therapeutically safe environment to make positive changes. I look forward to working with you!
