I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with children, teenagers, young adults and their families. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, anger, and oppositional and defiant behavior. Childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood can be very difficult and "growing pains," both typical and extreme, can leave lasting marks on all members of the family. In this time of transition, it is especially important to build confidence, coping skills, and a strong sense of self in order to move into adult life successfully. Through building and honoring a strong, mutually respectful, and caring relationship between the client and therapist, I believe real change can happen for all those involved.
