Therapy can be a turning point, where we look at our strengths and use them to overcome patterns that have not worked for us in the past. Sometimes we find ourselves off-balance, and in need of recalibration towards the life we would like to be living. This is not a dry process; instead it is an energizing, engaging, and even humorous method of getting to know your authentic self. I believe therapy is a useful and sometimes vital resource for individuals to identify personal strengths, develop skills to cope with pain, and facilitate changes towards leading healthier lives. Women's issues, adolescent development, mood disorders, relationship issues, single/dating life, mind-body connection, and sexual health. Additionally, working with couples to enhance communication and intimacy. I also lead a weekly women's group. It is a space for women to reflect on who they are and how they fit into the world. Live Oak is a community of helping professionals working together to enhance the emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being of individuals, families, organizations and communities.
