For 30 years my work as a clinician has focused on the diverse and special needs all age groups impacted by the addictions, trauma, mood disorders, pain management, parenting, and domestic violence. My entrepreneurial career has won me the reputation as a "go to" therapist, consultant, supervisor, mentor, professor, and coach. My clinical work embraces the practices of mental imagery, hypnosis, dreamwork, EMDR, and other somatic therapeutics such as DBT. Forensic evaluations are conducted and expert testimony for court cases involving competency in aging, child custody in family disputes, addiction arrests, and domestic violence. Group therapy services are offered. My work as 500RYT Yoga practitioner teaches clients in different stages of life (children, teens, adults, seniors) emotional and behavioral self-regulation and mood management techniques using a variety of practices (breath and physical exercises). Additionally, "JJ" O'Reilly, a golden retriever and certified therapy dog, aids in creating a relaxing and calm office setting. Diagnosed with Asthma at 15 months, a trauma survivor (hit by a drunk driver while running), and Stage 3 Breast Cancer survivor, my personal life experiences and journey add to my experience as a trained psychotherapist, certified addiction professional, and practitioner of mindbody and traditional medical and mental health therapies.
