Your self-awareness, self-esteem, mental health, and independence are counseling goals. I work with the clients to find each client's personal strengths, using those strengths to help the client to improve his/her situations, and to learn skills that can be applied throughout life. Some clients need only a few counseling sessions to achieve these goals, while others require months or years of counseling. As a client you maintain control of yourself and you may end our counseling relationship at any point and I will respect that right. I specialize in anger, infertility, trauma, including abuse, posttraumatic stress disorder, attachment, play therapy and crisis intervention. I work with families, couples, and individuals to foster change. My goal is to provide affordable mental health services. I presently accept private pay clients, with a sliding scale. I accept most insurance plans at this time. We will work to achieve the best results possible for you.
