I believe that we are not problems to be solved, but people to be known. Underneath all our places of struggle, angst, and ache are parts of our lives and stories that are worthy of love and acceptance. As a therapist, I work to create a safe place for clients to be seen, known, and cared for. My hope is to invite clients to examine their lives truthfully, making sense of who they are, where they are, and how they got there. Through addressing those questions, clients are able to move towards healthier lives and relationships. In addition to traditional elements of talk therapy, I use creative outlets such as metaphor, music, journaling.
