I graduated earning an MSW in 1994. I have been licensed as a clinician since 2001 with an LCSW. My experience includes work in psychiatric hospitals, private psychiatric clinics, medical clinics and private practice. I managed a Partial Hospitalization Program for 5 years affording me the opportunity to work with a wide range of mental health issues. I have significant experience with Substance Abuse and Recovery, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Grief, Relationship Conflicts, and the Psychological effects of Chronic Illness. Future focus is on Discrimination Recovery for those affected by bullying, stereotyping and disenfranchisement by societal systems. I have been privileged to participate in the personal journeys of a variety of people for 20 years. The mind and body work together and as thinking patterns become less rigid, so does the body. But I believe taking positive actions bring about the most significant changes in lives.
