I work with children, adolescents, families, and couples. In my experience with children and families, therapeutic work with children is inherently family work. Parents are the best experts on their children. They are the foundation from which new capacities can be built and supported in their own and their children's lives. I join with families to address the concerns that are important to them from an attachment based perspective. I rely heavily on forming a therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding, and authenticity to support families in re-writing old stories and creating new relationship possibilities. I have 14 years of experience working with children, families, couples, and groups. I received my MS from Oregon State University in 2001 in community counseling. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2004. I have had training in attachment, play therapy, family systems, and couples therapy.
