My clinical interests include cognitive-behavioral treatments for anxiety, depression, stress, and ADHD; anger management, and psychoeducation. I have particular interests in using visually mediated strategies to help clients remember and use information and issues discussed in the therapy session. I am co-author of the book Mind Stimulation Therapy, a unique approach to helping clients use their intact skills and strengths to better manage challenging problems and symptoms. I received my B.S. from Le Moyne College, my M.A. from RIC, and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from URI. I completed an internship in Clinical Psychology at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Medical Center, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center. In addition to my work at RICBT, I am a Professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Leadership, and School Psychology at Rhode Island College.
