Life is full of surprises that impact a person. Sometimes the challenges in life are difficult to cope with on our own. Seeking help is not a weakness, rather it takes tremendous courage to reach out for help. I believe when a person makes the decision to seek help, they have already begun the healing process. I have tremendous compassion and a desire to help people who are struggling. I genuinely enjoy working with my clients and am always honored to be a part of their growth and change. Oh... and there is always room for a little humor and fun. I have a specialty in anxiety disorders. My interest in anxiety disorders began over 20 years ago. I continuously seek knowledge on the latest research, treatments and skills to manage and cope with all types of anxiety. I tailor the treatment to the specific anxiety disorder and the persons needs. I have 20+ years of experience working as a Licensed Psychologist. I also was an RN in the Air Guard, therefore have a special interest in working with military members. I have extensive experience working with couples and marital therapy and enjoy the challenges they bring to therapy.
