My practice specializes in psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Diagnostic impressions are made after careful consideration of all aspects of an individual's functioning from a bio-psycho-social perspective. Assessment is often the first step in the improvement of academic, career, or social competence and emotional well being. Competence gives the individual the confidence and motivation needed to succeed and reach his or her full potential. I also provide individual therapy to children & adolescents from an integrative perspective, using techniques from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and family systems orientations. In addition, I provide consultation to families as part of a multi-modal treatment program. My many years of experience as a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) , makes me uniquely qualified to consult on school issues such as: 504 Plans, Individual Educational Plans and Georgia and national special education laws and parent's rights. I am available to serve as an advocate/consultant at school meetings.
