Are you struggling with sexual identity issues, or just regular day-to-day concerns that you would like to talk with an open-minded and GLBT-friendly therapist about? Are you having trouble with anxiety, depression, career concerns, or addiction recovery? All of the issues above - and more - can often be addressed through counseling. I believe that the perception and function of counseling has evolved rapidly in recent years. More and more people are finding counseling beneficial for not only solving specific problems or dealing with crises, but also for developing more fulfilling and enriching lives. I have clinical and research experience in dealing with anxiety, depression, GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender) issues, career concerns, and addiction recovery. As a gay man and long-time Atlanta resident, I also have additional insights into the Atlanta GLBT culture and the resources available to its residents. I have conducted or published psychological research in areas of Gay & Lesbian issues, addiction, and sexual identity development. I have a great interest in career development, given my previous Master's degree in Human Resource Management, seven years of corporate experience, and time spent counseling students at Georgia Tech.
