I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and adults in the context of individual, family and group psychotherapy. My practice is conveniently in Coral Gables with a close proximity to South Miami, Kendall, Coconut Grove and Pinecrest. With a client-centered and collaborative problem-solving approach, I treat a variety of difficulties including behavioral problems, executive functioning deficits, social skills deficits, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, family conflict, school related concerns, motivational issues, autism spectrum disorders and issues related to childhood sexual abuse and trauma. Additionally, I offer psychological and psychoeducational testing for children and adolescents as well as intellectual testing for placement in Gifted programs. My therapeutic orientation has evolved from my training in: Play Therapy, Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Theory. Nevertheless, I believe that it my positive approach and my ability to establish a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship that has the most positive influence on my patients.
