My approach is to join with you, my client, and to work together as a team to formulate goals that will take your life to where you want it to be. You will learn techniques that will promote lifelong change and happier living. So whether you are looking to improve your relationship, overcome anxiety, depression, addiction, or loss, or you just don't know what you need; I will work with you and we can tackle your goals as a team. I've been working with others like you for over fifteen years. I combine various theoretical perspectives in order to customize my approach to the unique needs of each individual client. I am also trained in EMDR, a specialized form of therapy which has been found to be especially effective in the treatment of victims of trauma. I am the proud mother of five children, aged toddler to adult, which I find helps me to be uniquely capable in treating parenting and step-parenting issues. I keep up with all the latest research and techniques by teaching and supervising MFT and CPC interns.
