A Nevada Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Nevada Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Appointed member of the Governor's Committee on Co-Occurring Disorders from 2010-2013. A past member of the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health 'Mobile Crisis Team' traveling to Las Vegas ERs for 'Legal 2000' psychological evaluations. From 2004 to 2009, I worked in the prisons with incarcerated men and women. I've treated symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a graduate intern working for the Veteran Administration. Married 29 years to a man whose culture and language are entirely different from my own and a mother of three. My private practice specializes in Couples Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Addictions Counseling, Family Systems.
