Nicole is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and received her Master's and Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. While in school Nicole also focused on learning more about how families can influence and affect each other on a daily basis. Through her training, she was focused initially on providing crisis services and later traditional counseling services for children, adolescents and their families. Nicole sees clients of all ages and stages of life but has focused on working with pre-teens and adolescents. Nicole has training and experience working with a variety of different issues causing distress for clients and their families including trauma and abuse, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions. Through her work, Nicole has seen many clients that have struggles with trauma and recently began her training for EMDR therapy to help her clients more effectively resolve old wounds and more forward with more positive and healthy lives.
