At some point, most people would benefit from some extra support to help them navigate the ups and downs of life. I believe that successful therapy is a collaborative process between you and I, and one of my primary focuses is helping you better understand yourself by exploring thoughts and behaviors. Ultimately, my goal is to help you develop and strengthen tools needed to cope with daily stressors as well as the more significant life events. I specialize in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with a medical condition and struggle with the necessary behavior changes. Often, receiving a medical diagnosis can cause feelings of depression, anxiety, helplessness, and hopelessness. Together, we can work through any difficulties you are experiencing as you try to cope. Additionally, I have the unique specialty of conducting pre-surgical bariatric evaluations for patients seeking all forms of surgery. I also conduct evaluations of mood symptoms and personality disorders, and provide biofeedback for anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
