I truly love the work I do. I feel blessed to be in a private practice setting. I keep my numbers low, which means I will absolutely remember what we talk about from week to week. . My goal is to give you the care that I would want, and to me, that means knowing you well and being able to cater to your specific needs. There is no cookie-cutter approach. It's about you! I primarily work with women, couples, teens and preteens. My main "style" of counseling is cognitive behavioral therapy - which is useful for working through depression and anxiety. I also incorporate faith when that is appropriate. I focus on strengths more than weaknesses, and am practical about meeting your goals. I am trained in Imago Relationship Therapy, which helps with my understanding of relationship issues and also gives me a very practical approach to working with couples and also teens and parents. My goal with relationships is to help you talk with each other, not just with me.
