I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Shelbyville, IN. I offer confidential counseling for individuals, couples and families in a comfortable setting. My focus is on the present not the past, on solutions not the problem or symptoms. I utilize a Client Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach in my counseling practice. I am a certified Reality Therapist using a practical and effective approach in helping people change. I teach problem solving skills. With the client, I create plans for change. Clients learn things they can use immediately. I have experience working with children and adolescent behavior problems, teen addiction and anger issues, co-dependency issues, adult addictions, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship issues, domestic violence and abuse, and women's issues.
