I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. My specialties include family conflict, transition issues, depression, anxiety, self esteem, and addiction recovery. I have a special interest in treating teens, young adults, and people affected by chemical dependency issues. I also have some training in EMDR and utilize that as one of my therapeutic tools. I work to help clients identify their strengths, and collaborate with them to find new solutions to the issues that affect their lives. I have a direct style, but I still strive to create a safe and motivating environment that fosters healing and personal growth. I'll work with you to explore your family history and your present influences, and use that information to help us discover new solutions to the issues that affect your life. I believe that lasting change can occur by creating a trusting relationship with a therapist, and I am excited to be doing this work.
