The therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of treatment. I believe that in order to sustain motivation to change and to build self confidence, everyone needs someone to be their cheerleader and to give constructive feedback in a gentle way. As a mental health therapist, I provide an environment where people can be themselves, free of judgment. I also offer concrete skills to help build efficacy in regulating emotions and to foster healthy connections with others. I am trained in DBT, CPT (trauma treatment), and Motivational Interviewing.
