I'm not afraid to dive right into your hard stuff. Helping people find a direction in the middle of complex, frustrating situations is what gets me out of bed in the morning. No therapist can promise results, but I can promise you a deep desire to listen, learn, and speak gently but bluntly about possible changes that may lead to a greater sense of peace in your life. I especially enjoy working with individuals in the midst of divorce, struggling step-families, and individuals and couples sorting through complex sexual intimacy, sexual orientation, and gender identity issues. I hold a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. Most important to many of my clients though, is the fact that I've been through a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth with similarities to their own. As part of Chenal Family Therapy, I regularly consult with a team of therapists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered.
