If you are looking at my profile, chances are you are in some psychological distress or even pain. In therapy, my first goal is to understand what you are going through and how you are viewing your issues, within the context of a safe and compassionate relationship. I want to offer a space for healing and for exploring fresh approaches to a more satisfying life, especially in your relationships with others and in your view of yourself. I believe that my greatest strengths are genuineness, sensitivity, and a sincere desire to help people who build a more rewarding life. With over 35 years of psychotherapy experience, I often see clients who struggle with stress, worry, anxiety, depression, family concerns, and relationship issues. I work full-time as the director of a busy college counseling service, but my experience is not limited to college students. I am flexible in scheduling appointments and offer sessions on weekday evenings and Saturdays.
