"You know my name, not my story. You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through..."-- I approach every client differently. No one client is the same. We all have different needs at different times in our lives. I offer client-centered therapy that focuses on empathy, understanding, and personal growth. I truly believe that there is no cookie cutter template on how therapy is supposed to go. I'll join you where you are and go with you where you need to go. Secure e-mail is preferred. I have training in bi-polar disorders, graduate training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, LGBT issues, and Sand Tray Therapy. I practice client-centered therapy, CBT , expressive therapies, and art therapy. I also have graduate training in child theory and child play therapy. Many may know me from the Robert J. Murney Clinic. Since my time there I have started and opened my own mental health clinic called New Leaf Counseling Services. I continue to surround myself with the best mental health therapists in the area and continue to provide down-to-earth, personal, mental health services.
