My specialty is providing child and adolescent psychotherapy, along with treating the entire family system. Trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I try to incorporate CBT skills into my sessions. I find that youth value this type of therapy as they walk away with specific skills to utilize when experiencing distress. However, I'm always adapting therapeutic techniques to fit each individual's needs. Together we'll discuss your treatment goals and we'll review this periodically to ensure that your expectations are being met. Common issues that I treat include but are not limited to: attention deficit disorder, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, phobias, reactive attachment disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, parenting skills, self-esteem, adoption and foster care, LGBTQ, and peer/family relationships. Office hours are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I accept private pay clients, United and Blue Cross Blue Shield members.
