I specialize in working with children, adolescents and their families with parenting and behavioral problems, childhood trauma, anxiety and depression, and developmental disabilities. I especially enjoy helping parents to reduce their stress levels by teaching them positive parenting and behavior management techniques. I utilize cognitive behavioral and client-centered therapy, play therapy, and creative counseling modalities in my practice. I tailor my approach to the individual client/family believing that we are each unique beings with unique strengths, backgrounds, and personalities. I strive to create a safe, nurturing and nonjudgmental environment where clients can improve their self-awareness, strengthen their relationships, and accomplish their goals.
