One of my main strengths as a therapist is connection- meeting people where they are at in the present moment, deeply bearing witness to the struggles faced during one's encounter with life. I view the therapeutic process as a co-created experience developed during the act of meeting, the creative unfolding and discovery of one's reality, and the work carried out to meet one's need for change, acceptance, skills, and balancing of the internal system. I enjoy working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, high-sensitivity (HSP) and empathy, eating disorders, relationships issues, challenging life changes and transitions. I am also interested in clients struggling with Lyme disease and other chronic disorders. I try to schedule new clients for an initial session within 2-4 days after first contact. I feel privileged to be able to sit with people and witness their humanity- as expressed through joy, grief, transcendent moments, or the dark psychic spaces that we all come to know in life. My work is based in presence, contact, and compassion.
