I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. I specialize in working with individuals and families, specifically in the areas of addiction, self harm and at risk behaviors, gender identity, anger management and rage issues, depression and anxiety, grief, and trauma and abuse. I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and am working towards licensure in the State of Florida. I am in private practice with Elisabeth A. Edwards and Associates in Gainesville, FL. When working with clients, I employ techniques from Reality Therapy and Choice Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Alderian Theory, Attachment Theory, Relational Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. These approaches have proven effective to help clients deal with processing difficulties stemming from various types of loss, as well as helping family members communicate more effectively with one another.
