Are you a parent confused as to which direction to take with your child's unusual behaviors?Are you an adolescent with a history of mood swings, anxiety, and self-injurious thoughts? Have you had issues at school with peers or difficulty with your family? Are you struggling in a relationship in which you have given up too much of your identity? Have you had traumatic experiences that have led you to be distrustful of life and others? Your story is sacred and I would be honored to witness your growth on this journey called life. I worked for over 7 years in an adolescent residential treatment facility with clients who have been diagnosed with mood disorders and self-harming behaviors as well as their families. I also have a Specialization in Traumatology and extensive experience working with those who are victims of sexual abuse. Dealing with horrific life issues is often beyond words for clients and that is why I attempt to employ unique modalities to assist clients in having a fresh outlook on their situation. I use art, play, and/or sandtray techniques to help clients get a better understanding of problems.
