Sometimes life presents challenges that can be painful or confusing, causing us to feel stuck. My goal is to help you identify and verbalize areas in your life that are causing you distress. I incorporate many evidenced-based tactics into my practice; but, above all, I believe that the best predictor of success in psychotherapy is the person-centered, therapeutic alliance. I have experience working with a variety of ages, genders, cultures and socioeconomic groups. I have extensive knowledge working with addiction, self-esteem, relationship distress, diet and eating disorders, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder and more. I specialize in providing assistance and guidance in resolving personal, social or psychological problems. I also practice from a wellness model, which is a proactive and positive approach to living that increases resiliency to stress by promoting life balance and contentment.
