I believe all people have an innate capacity for growth and positive change. Sometimes we just need some help finding our way. As a therapist I help children, adults, and families find their own paths to healing by listening closely to the strengths and capacities they already have, while helping them remove the barriers that get in the way. People from all backgrounds are welcome in my office, where I strive to provide an environment that feels safe, friendly, and non-judgmental to all. Building trust and safety in the therapy room is important in helping people feel supported, gain insight, and practice new skills. I have additional training and experience working with children and their families. In my work with young children I utilize individual play therapy as well as parent-child play and art to encourage the building (or rebuilding) of attachment balanced with the implementation of new parenting strategies.
