I love to work with people who seek support for their desired changes, or are on the search for a fulfilled and balanced life. Other possible topics I am glad to address with you are: transitions, dealing with depression or anxiety, coping with stress, finding solutions for relationship issues, healing from traumatic experiences, or facing substance abuse issues. I understand therapy as collaboration and my goal is to assist you in re-accessing or developing your strengths and talents. A good and solid therapeutic relationship is most important to me and I strive to establish a safe and trustful environment. Knowing that current and past experiences are 'grounded' in our body, I emphasize the strenghtening and re-establishment of a healthy body-mind connection, in order to live a more satisfying/fulfilling life. My approach is holistic and client-centered. I integrate Gestalt, Mindfulness, trauma informed and strength-based techniques. I assist trauma survivors in regaining a healthy equilibrium, and in overcoming the multiple symptoms of trauma as they are often manifested in physical, emotional, and mental difficulties. I enjoy working with older teens and adults, both men and women.
