With seven years of mental health experience, I am available to treat a variety of mental health issues, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and behavioral issues. A major area of expertise is treatment of trauma, including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse as well as neglect and exposure to domestic violence. I have prior experience in working with all age groups from ages four and up. My focus is to help individuals and families achieve the stability and the level of functioning that they desire through helping decrease symptoms and strengthen relationships with others. In regards to my areas of specialization, my skill set includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. I provide a holistic approach to treatment based upon the needs of the individual or family. In my professional setting, I am part of group of professionals, including other clinicians, mental health paraprofessionals, and a board certified psychiatrist. It is my goal to continue working within the community to overcome any identified gaps to service provision and access to mental health treatment.
