The aim of her work with individuals is to help them to break through negative belief patterns, to act more decisively, and to set clear goals to help them create the life they want. Some typical areas of focus are: achieving work-life balance, becoming more assertive, gaining confidence, improving relationships and making a life transition. Her relationship work focuses on helping people find greater satisfaction and fulfillment in their interpersonal relationships. Amy holds a M.S. with a clinical focus in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. She is a certified Prepare/Enrich® provider working with premarital couples, couples who want to enrich their relationship, couples with parenting issues, and couples contemplating adopting or fostering a child.
