I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified psychoanalyst with over 30 years experience. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative environment where your difficulties can be explored and understood. I believe that past experiences and traumas can interfere with present functioning and well being, especially in such areas as relationships, self esteem, and employment. By working through past and current difficulties, you can improve your well being and move past barriers that have held you back. I have worked successfully with clients from many backgrounds, on such issues as depression, anxiety, loss, stress, work, relationships and parenting. My primary orientation is psychodynamic, but I include other approaches as relevant to your situation. I received my certification in adult psychoanalysis from the Arizona Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Tucson. I previously also completed two postgraduate psychodynamic training programs in Boston.
