Is your child struggling in school? Is your child's teacher concerned about his or her behavior or ability to pay attention? Have you noticed a major change in your child's sleeping or eating habits, or emotional state? Has your family recently experienced a major event or trauma, such as divorce, separation, a move, abuse, or a death in the family? Has your child engaged in self-harm or other dangerous behavior? Together as a team, we can tackle these issues and improve your child's functioning. I am a child psychologist and I specialize in the treatment and evaluation of children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 3 to 21) with a variety of behavioral and emotional disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and more. I have several years experience working with children on the autism spectrum. I also perform psychological evaluations for a variety of purposes. My therapeutic approach with younger children is client centered play therapy, while I use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach with older children, adolescents, and adults.
