The people who like to work with me tend to be: adolescents who have recently returned home from an inpatient treatment program; couples who are experiencing issues with intimacy and sex; parents who want assistance joining two families under one roof; professionals struggling to find work/life balance or who have recently made significant career changes; and, families dealing with end-of-life issues. Helping people feel comfortable talking about the uncomfortable parts of life is what I like to do. Meeting with a stranger AND having to talk to said stranger about your innermost thoughts and feelings might be something you thought you would never do - I've heard many people say this same thing. Experienced in clinic-based & community-based programs and as someone who is forever curious, I believe my role is to be someone who can help you better understand. I believe everyone deserves to better understand and be understood.
