As a therapist, it is very important to me that throughout the therapy process my clients feel heard, safe, and understood. I know that therapy can be a difficult process, but it can also be a powerful process of self-exploration, discovery, and acceptance that can lead to interacting with others in new and healing ways. I believe that all people have the fundamental capacity for change and I work collaboratively with my clients to help tailor therapy to their individual, couple, and familial needs and goals. I received my MA at Adler University in the Couple and Family Therapy, with additional clinical and volunteer training at the Family Counseling Center in Joliet, and through Zacharias Center for Sexual Abuse. My experiences include working with clients impacted by all forms of trauma, anxieties, and depression. I bring myself as an individual into therapy and believe that authentic experiences in therapy help move people towards the change they seek in their daily lives. I love getting creative through art and play therapy with children and their families to gain insights on the child's feelings.
