As a licensed clinical psychologist, I offer a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to dealing with life's difficult moments. I am committed to helping you use your strengths to grow personally and in your relationships with others. I have training in psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, and mindfulness-based psychotherapies and tailor treatment to your unique needs and situation. I have experience treating a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, coping with illness, self-esteem, relationships, career, work/life balance, and I offer specialized treatment for PTSD. My education includes a bachelor's from Penn State University and a doctorate from Northwestern University. I completed my clinical internship at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and served over five years as a Staff Psychologist in their PTSD clinic. I am currently a faculty member at Northwestern University.
