I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach and I consider myself to be a therapist who likes working with children, adolescents, and adults who are wary of therapy. I appreciate how difficult it is to seek help, and that not every problem can be solved in the same way. I value the unique qualities of each individual or family's issues and assist with finding solutions that they find achievable and worthwhile. I have worked with children and adults in a variety of roles for nearly twenty years in three different countries covering a wide range of challenges: behavioral difficulties, academic problems, mental health, developmental disabilities, learning difficulties, dysfunctional relationships, drug and alcohol abuse, and issues arising from physical abuse and trauma. Although I am skilled at using traditional talk therapies, I like working with creative interventions such as art therapy, sand tray, play therapy, and using creative writing to assist clients with further development and teach coping skills to use outside of the therapy sessions.
